| Our picture frames are all made to order, to the size and finish you desire. For works on paper where glass is used, our standard rabbet allowance is 1/8”. For paintings on canvas or board our standard rabbet allowance is 3/16”. You may give us an exact rabbet size, or may order by sight size.
Finishes are available in gold metal leaf, aluminum leaf, 22k or 12k and a black over red rubbed finish.
All leafed frames may be ordered with “no rub”, or a light, medium or heavy rub. You may also choose from a light, medium or dark finish. Varying degrees of distress may be requested as well as asphaltum and analine finishes. |
